So the only downside of living a nomadic life (besides the unstable income, lack of guaranteed shelter and food, being at the mercy of the elements and creatures)
is that Tick has nowhere to store books.
He finds plenty of interest, from spell books to journals, and he tries to hold onto the ones he likes most, but eventually he passes them on, trying to make room for his next find. He records what he can in his own journal, howeverāselect passages, diagrams, quotes that stick out to him.
One of his favorites is a scrap of a love letter he found. Itās tucked away safe in his journal, and he finds himself reciting it from time to time, traveling the rhythm of each chosen word.
He doesnāt know poetry but he knows what he likes.
