Well, unless you have extra amounts of the same fabric lying around, letting out the shoulder is going to be hard because you have to add material to the piece you’re modifying. That’s why I would always suggest finding clothes that are big enough to accomodate all of you, be it the stomach, the chest, the shoulders, the biceps or the thighs, and then taking in the places that are too obviously big (say the shoulders if you’ve gone up size to fit your breasts, or the waist if you have strong arms, or the length of the legs if your thighs are log-sized). Easier to cut away than to insert new materials, especially if you’re a beginner.

I think the reason is: that other blog is meant to be more of a showcase, and I haven't felt like my stuff is showcase-able? Or I'm not sure how to showcase it?

So I might try posting them here instead (and maybe some other time, post them there too).

It feels weird to have this pressure (albeit self-inflicted) to write in a certain way. Like, I try to write more "professionally" there, try not to complain or nitpick, and try to show off my work. But I want to also be able to just go, "Hey I made a thing!" with no, like, expectation of professional conduct?

I want to make some posts about my projects, but struggling to compose them. Partly I have a fear that I made poor choices in my projects and that exposing them to the general public will open a slew of judgement or unsolicited "advice".
