About Me
For any admissions staff that may be reading this, I really appreciate the consideration of my application for admission. I hope that you will find something here that will help consolidate your decision to admit me. I have to say that this is definitely my first choice school and I am very keen on being taken off the waitlist.
I am an international student from Hong Kong currently waiting to get off the RISD priority waitlist and be admitted to the class of 2017. You may know me on Facebook as Zachary Deocadiz. If anything, you may know my legacy on the RISD admissions page as the one who quoted Justin Bieber and Hercules.
I decided to make this website in order to show you not only how interested I am in RISD, but also to highlight my technical ability, dedication and most importantly, what I have to offer the school itself. In terms of creating a website to convey this information, I feel as though I have improved greatly in my abilities in web design since my application, especially through the process of creating my portfolio, and design is definitely something I am interested in pursuing at RISD.
"You should be a work study student in admissions when you get here"
- Lucy King, RISD Admissions (referring to me helping another prospective student in the RISD Admissions Facebook group)
"Zachary, that. is. awesome."
- Lucy King, RISD Admissions (referring to quoting Justin Bieber's 'Baby' as a response to the admissions decisions)
