we have not this is true!! I mean first I’m obsessed with your new blog title, Hate Dept is excellent. second, something I admire a lot is that honestly you seem more genuine than the bulk of us on here and it’s because I think you share the good and the bad, the positive and negative emotions in your life. there is a huge amount of range in the posts you make because of that, there’s incredibly thoughtful and well researched and articulate meta and also posts about like. how studying is going. that type of openness is not something that I personally ever will do on the internet, anything public facing is very carefully curated, but I seriously admire that you are as open as you are, I think it takes a lot of guts to do that.

another thing is probably all of the unique fanfiction that i've read by mutuals & general writers alike. there are some things that people have created & ideas that they have worked upon that i probably would have never considered

I definitely agree…like in general although if you have an unpopular take, people will certainly tell you it’s unpopular, I don’t feel like I’ve necessarily been driven out (or even had people try to do so) of the fandom at large just over a take. so that’s good, because you’re right, at least that willingness to listen is one of the best tools in the push back against the pervasive conservatism.
