bridgerton theory
*i am so *into* hannah and masali so i was hoping for this from the jump*
i was suddenly struck with the idea that seeing francesca in an unconventional partnership will offer eloise's a new perspective about about love and marriage because of course the bridgertons will be as accepting as society allows them to be. eloise will see how transformative romantic love can be between two people whom she adores who will have to fight against (likely) internalized homophobia and societal sexism to embrace their truth.
i don't think eloise could've been next because she is simply not ready for love. she's only just promised to stop shitting on hyacinth's finishing lessons. she's very close to fran and got close with michaela while in scotland. she needs an entirely new love paradigm in front of her before she re-enters the marriage mart or whatever brings her and philip together.
think like a writer, not like a fan.
