abaddon is coming along!! need to do her faceup, but i'll have to paint her head first because it absolutely does not match the body. i don't love painting heads but it's fine, especially since barbie heads fit loose on worldbox bodies so i won't be doing much squeezing/forcing to get it on the neck, meaning less risk of the paint cracking.
working with kanekalon isn't my favorite - because it's so thin it tangles so easy, all my leftover hair is bunched up lol - but i LOVE the material itself and the results are so worth it to me. her hair is so so soft and it just looks so lovely. i might need to trim up the ends more, i don't like how... square? the bottom is.
i love the color of the jacket but i don't love how it sits. might be better if i glue down bits to make it lay flatter, but it'd still not be the BEST fit. i'll keep an eye out to see if anything else out there stands out to me as a better option.
closeup of the leggings! they're kind of.... holographic? metallic? something like that, they shine in the light
bonus: i was taking these pictures on zazzle's cat tree. he kept reaching out to touch me and the doll.
