This infographic from the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS) shows the increased political participation among AAPIs. In the upcoming 2014 midterm elections, there will be 22 Asian American & Pacific Islander Congressional candidates. In the 2008 general elections, there were 13 AAPI candidates. In state legislative elections, there are 159 AAPI candidates in 26 states. In some states, there are still a few days left to register to vote. More resources: Asian American voter survey
