@aaeamerica finished up with some group tests this week for a Utah barrel manufacturer...16" stainless steel. 223 Wylde 1:8 twist mid gas medium contour AR15 barrel gave us great results! 6 different ammo manufacturers tested (all 55 gr). No malfunctions, no stuck brass, steel or zinc casings, and no friction marks from either clambering or extraction! Here are the 100 yard groups. Depending on ammunition, we were averaging 1 inch groups across the board. We'll take it!
