My psychiatrist tried to tell my mom she could limit me using my AAC to only a few hours of she thinks its necessary but I said no and advocated for myself when he said that. Because I know thats wrong. I am proud of myself!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, but today’s journey was a café where I was really confident in communicating with my device. The drink was only okay, but I am always proud of myself when I can participate in the back and forth of doing something like ordering in the first place!
Wow! A lot has changed in my life since I have been active on this blog. I now use a pageset inspired by Petrichor Pageset - Public v2 by Petrichor on pageset central, I started university - I'm studying special educational needs and disability - I got engaged and I am now Pagan which is also my biggest special interest at the moment. I have also been told that I have FND which explains some of my speaking difficulties but I am on medication which helps so now I have moved out and live with my fiancée!
