I feel like I’ve done a lot of these announcements and acting like every detail is important like I’m so self-centered or something but I promise it kind of is to me? Like I think I’m going through a crisis or something I am so sorry

But anyways I’ve changed my theme, as well as my focus for shifting!

Andy Starr and my Ace Attorney script have always been there for me, but I don’t think I can shift there. It’s not that I doubt myself--I know I can shift easily, I’m not giving up entirely--it’s just that I can’t really view Andy as myself. 

A bit of background: Andy Starr was originally an Ace Attorney OC and a self-insert. No cancel culture here, do whatever you want, but I was so weird back then. It wasn’t even that long ago--like two months before the pandemic! But because I’ve changed so much and grown so much, I can’t really view Andy as myself, even as a DR self. 

Even the world--the people I’ve created, the story, all of it. I don’t think I have the passion to go there like my other DRs. It’s the same with DRDBH, my Detroit: Become Human script. I created Apollo just to go to DBH because that’s where my hyperfixiation was at the time. 

So uh yeah that’s where I am at the moment, I’m focusing on my other DRs and abandoning DRAS and DRDBH. Of course, these two scripts will not be forgotten by me--they helped me have the confidence to shift and create worlds. DRAS was the stepping stone to my newest writing project, and DRDBH...okay it really didn’t do much but I did care about it for a while so you know fdjklds

I'll try to take my time. But drAWING IS THE FUN STUFF. I read fanfics and all I can think about is "that scene is so cool, the writer is so talented I wish I could do smth for them. How would I do it, what the composition should be", I watch shows and all I think is, "I should practice character design with all these. Maybe some screencap redraws would help me study"; what about these designs- what would I change. That artist's concept is so good, I'd like to try too- ;;;;

The motivation is there, it's just the getting to do it right what I'm struggling with d-':

Ok so I’m sorry in advance, this isn’t going to be a drabble because I’ve had it saved as a wip in my docs for like a month now and I love love love this concept but I can’t for the life of me get it out on paper (or screen) right now. I’ve got some stuff going on in my life right now, but I still wanna talk about this so I’m just kinda gonna do an HC bullet point list. Hope that’s okay, sorry it took so long to get to this!

-Ok so first thing’s first: neither of them can write for SHIT

-Both of them have such bad handwriting it’s god awful

-Tony’s is sharp and looks like chicken scratch

-Bruce’s is more loopy and organic, and it would probably be pretty and neat if he didn’t try to take notes at the speed of light

-Tony has a habit of writing ideas or just thoughts on his arm when he doesn’t have another outlet available

-By extension, Bruce’s arms are like constantly covered in words and it kind of looks like he has a full-sleeve tattoo sometimes

-He hates it because Bruce is just a nerdy scientist, and he doesn’t think the whole tattoo look suits him at all

-Bruce tries not to draw on himself because he’s a generally nice person and doesn’t want whoever is on the other end to get mad or annoyed

-But then sometimes he just does it out of spite if he feels like Causing Trouble On Purpose because whoever the fuck is writing these notes CANNOT BE A HUMAN WHY WOULD YOU WRITE ON YOURSELF SO MUCH AND WHY DOES IT LOOK LIKE ALIEN SYMBOLS

-Things that Bruce has written before include but are not limited to:

“Shut the fuck up”

“I don’t want another tattoo dick”

“You’re going to give me second hand ink poisoning asshole”

“I know you can read this motherfucker”

-He always feels bad after writing these, but also like....whoever is on the other end is being a JERK

-Oh by the way Tony actually CAN’T read what Bruce writes because, again, he ALSO has terrible handwriting

-So he never even tries to reply

-The first time Bruce works in a lab with Tony, he catches a glimpse at the notes he has written on his paper and goes BALLISTIC

-Hulk actually starts to come out a little but Bruce gets it under control and then just TEARS his lab coat off and shoves his inked-up arm in Tony’s face

-It takes Tony a hot second to realize what Bruce is showing him and then he just yells “OH!”

-And Bruce is like “YEAH NO SHIT ‘OH’” and he’s laughing and also red-faced because this is his fucking soul mate? Tony Stark himself???

-And Tony’s like “Well shit looks like I’m taking you to dinner tonight”
