Volunteer @tomkiesche worked on building her trust/confidence, and she slowly began to show us herself. She’s had a few meets with other dogs (one small) and is currently kenneled with one. She’s quick and playful. If you’re in a position to foster, we are desperate for open kennels. Lola #A1895202 A one-year-old surrendered by owner. I really don’t care about the circumstances. All I see is a traumatized dog. With some scarring. I had been working with her through the gate for a few days… And today she connected eyes with me for the first time. Minutes later, when I was walking Tucker by her kennel she popped out from her little cave and showed real interest. - Seizing that opportunity I asked for assistance from Dalan… And we got her out of the kennel and into a process of socializing. Teamwork. - Become part of the team. Volunteer. She’ll loosen up as she starts to trust more of us. if you’re interested in meeting Lola stop by the shelter. And if you’re interested in volunteering go to the website.
