"THESE ARE THE THINGS WE DO TALK ABOUT: my heart still lying on your front porch / the grime that surrounds it from years of neglect / silk spun apologies / how I could build you a house made entirely of tender soft / how it still wouldn't make up for the bad / the bad / the worst / your favorite stories / our drunken phone calls / the first daffodil in spring / piano strings / the hands that press into them / your soft pink skin / how it's my favorite color now / the please / the I'm so sorry / the I'd do anything / can I take it back yet / can you stay here / even for a minute / even for a second"

This is for my love @echobowsâ and the prompt she sent me because I love her, she is amazing and deserves the world. <3
This can be considered a part two to her fanfic Growth, where Kagome asks Sango to train her and Miroku learns the hard way why itâs not a good idea to sneak up on her hahaha. You donât have to read it first, but I highly recommend it! And because sheâs so awesome she even managed to sneak in some InuKag fluff too! Check it out, you wonât be disappointed! Here it is on FFnet if youâd rather read it there.
I hope you enjoy this doll! <3<3<3
On an irrelevant note, I AM NOT GOOD AT FIGHTING SCENES. THIS WAS SO FUCKING HARD TO WRITE. I DONâT DO FIGHTS. I DO SEX. I WRITE THE SEX BUT NO FIGHTING IâM SO GLAD THIS IS DONE.Â
âI bet I can kick your ass, dogboy.â
Dark brows rose up into a fringe of silver bangs as amber eyes flashed with thinly veiled amusement. Twin ears flicked atop his head and a pair of arms rose to fold almost haughtily across a chest toned from years of hard battling and exertion. Â He didnât answer her right away, instead taking the opportunity to slowly trek his gaze down her body, silently appraising what he saw. He had to admit; all of her hard work with Sango had definitely paid off. Gone was the soft schoolgirl heâd met years ago, and in her place stood a strong, subtly muscled young woman without an ounce of fat on her. He new from experience her waist had shrunk and toned up, her thighs had firmed and even her arms had a bit more muscle definition in them. Of course she was still soft and feminine where it counted, but he couldnât say he disagreed with her decision to train, and he couldnât be more proud of her.

A follow-up to the "what if Karen was pregnant" fic? That ending has me SO intrigued! (loving your TSBM fics, btw!)

They were sitting next to each other, turned enough to face each other, knees touching at the angle. Their hands sat on top of knee, where he was clutching both of her hands in his. And Sheldon, oh Sheldon, looked more nervous than the day heâd asked to marry her.
âThis isnât going to be easy.â he was attempting to reassure her, his tone was warm and genuine âbut weâll work through it together. I promise.â
She nodded, looking up from her hands and back to gaze of her husband, as she reminded âThe doctorâs all confirmed itâs too far along for Plan B.â
âKarenâŚâ his voice was wavering with uncertainty ââŚwhat do you want? Youâre the one who has that parasite growing inside of you.â
She was going to argue that a parasite and a fetus werenât exactly the same thing, but this was a moment where she needed to choose her battles wisely. That one wasnât worth it. âWe canât afford a baby, Sheldon.â she stated it as a fact. âIâm not sure we can even afford to carry a baby to term.â
She felt him give her hands a squeeze, and for whatever reason, it was all the more reassuring. âDonât worry about finances right now. Iâm worried about you.â
âHow can I not worry about that?!?â Karen knew raising her voice at him wouldnât get them anywhere, but she couldnât help herself. âI have to worry about it daily without an infant.â
âYouâre right.â he muttered, so quietly that she almost didnât hear him. He dropped her hands, and repositioned himself so that he was holding her, arms wrapped around either side of his wife. âOf course youâre right.â he continued to muttered âYouâre alwaysâŚ.always rightâŚâ
And thenâŚhe muttered something so quietly that she couldnât understand him.
Running her fingers through his hair, Karen simply let out a small âHmm?â
He only buried his face deeper into the side of her neck, the syllables escaping his lips even more indistinguishable than the first time.Â
With a roll of her eyes, Karen instructed âHoney, youâre going to need to speak up.â
Lifting his head slowly, he let one of his arms slip out from around her to stroke her cheek, bringing her face to meet his gaze. And quietly, but with a shocking amount of conviction, he explained âI said, I could sell the restaurant.â
Her eyes immediately went wide with shock. âNo. No no no no no no no. Youâre not giving up everything because you forgot to wrap it before you tapped it.â
âIâm just saying itâs an option.â he retorted, his voice shockinglyâŚkind.
âThis place is your dream, Sheldon, Iâm not-â
She wasnât shocked by the fact that he interrupted her. She was shocked by the content that he interrupted her with. âNo itâs not. You were.â
âSheldo-â
He moved the hand that had been stroking her cheek to place a finger in front of her lips. âShhh.â he hushed. âIâm being serious, baby. This place would have meant nothing if you werenât running it with me. If giving it up is what it takes, Iâll do it.â
Mumbling against the finger still pressed to her lips, she offered âwe can still look at our other options.â
