           “  you’re gonna live.  ”     the difference in how much heaving there’s between spencer’s words compared to matt’s is loud and clear---he’s not gonna mention it if spence won’t. he gives a small pat on reid’s shoulder to both as encouragement and to quickly check up on the man  ( matt will laugh at him, but he’d also prefer to know if spence is actually about to pass out ). by the time that’s done, there’s no signs of any exercise having been done anywhere on matt’s face.     “  i gotta ASK---  ”     his tone is deceivingly deadpan for a moment.    “  when have you been in shape?  ”
