the Vatican having a little mouse community of Monks and Nuns (mice-nuns in mice-sized habits anyone?), and some Lay Mice, who also morn the human Pope, because he was a good man. maybe they're actually the first ones to find out, scamperign about

Vincent, possibly unknowingly, possibly knowingly (your choice), bringing a mouse passenger who visits with the Vatican Mice and tells them a lot about his Person. Vincent certainly knows about the RAS, and has mice he chats to in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Mice regularly chatting with the Turtles in the pond and finding out more about Vincent.

Sister Agnes having a longstanding Tacit truce/semi-alliance with the Head Sister-Mouse - "You stay away from the working Kitchens, I won't ask to get a Cat, will lie about seeing Mice and i'll leave odds and ends for you. Thank you for upsetting Janusz's bottles/ yanking the tops off and spilling them so he can't drink even when he wants to."

(Yes each Steven is a divergence from a canon episode :] curious how many people can figure out)
