I might be the only one but I don't know... Have you noticed that in k dramas the actor can be well over 35 years of age but usually the actresses are younger? Idk how 2 make u understand but it's weird that old actors can have long careers but actresses over 30 are rarely seen or have I just not watched many dramas hahaha idk it just bothered me a bit for some reason. Does Korea hate older women or something

youre not alone fam. that’s usually how it is, with 50-something men oldies getting paired up with 20/30 year olds. not only in ktown but other industries as well. i genuinely thought the femlead in mr. sunshine is like a younger version of the femlead or sibling of the male lead lmao. society mostly cares about looks so if a man looks handsome even after 30/40s, lucky for them, theyre gonna live a good life. women that age pretty have it good too but age is always a major subject in their life, idk like women getting older is not such positive thing :/

but there are a few good dramas with older actresses. a few i remember: witch’s romance/a witch’s love, good wife, chicago typewriter (kinda) and secret affair.
