Slowly trudging through the underbrush, Baloo bobbed his head a bit as he hummed to himself. He had a long day of doing practically nothing ahead of him and intended to keep to schedule. 

While on this march to food and lounging, the bear found himself halting when a long and menacing form passed out of cover up ahead and blocked his path... Shere Khan.

Baloo was by no means an anxiety-ridden fellow, in fact, he worried about very little. Yet when that tiger emerged forth from the bamboo stalks, Baloo’s entire form locked up and he yelped out an overly zealous greeting.

“SHERE KHAN. What a pleasant surprise!”

He had sworn he was on the trail of some honey... perhaps he took a wrong turn?

Night, deep in the jungle...

An uproar of dreadful noise rose from the trees atop a yonder hill, such an uproar that Baloo halted his nightly stroll. Best to keep away from there...or at least best to keep a distance...who was he kidding? He wasn’t Bagheera.
