-Bro u either have so much aura that Khan did not want to eat u or are so feeble that Khan did not want to eat u. No in between I think

-The King of the Jungle barely leaves your side, even to hunt for himself. He ensures that you stay very near to him, typically hidden within a thorny bush. He'll find another place for you to hide if the thorns make you uncomfortable, but he insists that you need to hide within the spikes. This way, predators or omnivorous prey wouldn't even try to look inside the foliage.

...He's ngl he'll still eat your species. 😭. "You are the exception. If I find, say... A highly nutritious version of you, placed in a convenient manner, it's likely that I wouldn't be able to keep my claws in."

...He just won't target your family, of course.

-Before, Khan could can smell and hear other hunters from miles away. Now? He can sense them even if they're not in the same jungle as you guys are. When he hears one get an inch too close into his claimed territory, he simply roars loud enough until he hears them scamper away.

-His opinion on being with you? At first, he was quite offended at himself. The King of the Jungle choosing to be with something he should be hunting and consuming... It's... distasteful. Disgraceful.

-For the first few weeks of your partnership, he always had the thought of hunting you down, biting a chunk off you as you slept. He wanted to rid of his own shame the only way he knew how to. But he could never bring himself to do it. Your death seemed to scare him as much as fire did.

-He couldn't even hurt you, despite his taunts of your body being faint compared to his. Though, his taunts usually came as nudges to safety. "If one gust of wind can knock your legs, one misstep on the leaves can lead to you sink into a Naja's teeth," Khan said after realizing that you'd stopped paying attention to your surroundings after a while of walking through the jungle with him. (Naja referring to the Indian Cobra).

BAGHEERA

-Bagheera truly tried to hinder the relationship from developing any further than friendship. He knows the absolute disruptance it would cause in the natural order. A predator whose mate is prey naturally calls unwanted attention to both parties.

-But Baghee couldn't help himself. He truly loves you more than simple companionship. His tail would always flick at that truth.

-Knowing that you're a vulnerable prey animal, his days are mostly spent following you around, ensuring that you don't stumble into danger.

-His constant following of u makes HIM encounter danger. A LOT. The amount of times he's had to fight off some random animal was insane. One time Baloo tried pranking him by growling (loudly) while u two were walking nearby and Bagheera did NOT play. He ran to Baloo and bit his knee bruh

-He's always watching over you. He knows that a wrongly timed lick in the water can cause an alligator to bite your mouth off.

-Baghee straight up refuses to eat any of your species or species that remind him of you. It churns his stomach. He can suffice by hunting another animal.

-That being said, it's safe to assume that has no current thoughts of eating you. Though... The first time you two met... It was certainly an option...That he could very easily ignore because he's far too controlled for that!

-He felt no shame to be with you, just confusion. He didn't understand at first why you completed him. But the river doesn't need a reason to flow, does it?

-He honestly didn't expect to have a partner in his lifetime, preferring pure solitude. You're both his main reason of confusion AND surprise. But he prefers life with you. Baghee would never admit it, but he finds himself thoroughly enjoying the mischief you cause just by being with him.
