Hey guys!! I just wanna set some general rules for everyone to read. This only applies to my works.

Firstly, I have always chosen to edit only official photos or photos from fansites that allow editing with credit. By doing so, I’m respecting the wishes of the fansite admins that do not want their work to be tampered with, which is fair enough. I as an artist wouldn’t want my artworks stolen from me, and if reposted anywhere, I’d want to keep that credit. I put effort into making them, after all. Please note that I have set this as a rule for myself only; I don’t view other creators who use noneditable photo/videos for their gfx in a bad light because I sometimes reblog those myself with no issue and honestly my dash would be empty without them. 

I’m glad that my creations appeal to people, but I don’t want my edits to be used somewhere else without my consent. The thing is, I allow the personal use of my creations unless stated otherwise but I need to know what my edits are being used for, so please ask me for permission first. I had assumed that this was common decency but apparently I have to spell it out to people. I will 99% of the time allow my creations to be used, with good reason. 

Rules:

FOR PERSONAL USE: icons, headers, sidebars and the like. I’m not very strict with these, I’ve seen a lot of people use my edits as icons and headers and I’m not troubled by it, as long as the photo used is official. However, if an editable fansite photo was used, I expect you to credit the fansite.

FOR REPOSTING: posts such as kpop scenarios, fanfiction etc.

> If I used an official photo: credit me

> If I used an editable photo from a fansite: credit the fansite first and mention me last

Why am I not allowing the immediate use of my edits without permission?

It’s simple. I don’t want an edit of mine to represent something that I don’t agree with. For instance, I wouldn’t ever want my edit to represent fanfiction in which minor idols are sexualised, or if I don’t agree with that fanfiction’s content (i.e. murder, rape, etc.) 

The following are prohibited:

Reposting/Reproduction of my work for personal gain (read = stealing and claiming it as yours) or for financial gain.

Please respect these rules. I will from now on put a link of these guidelines in the description of any works I post so that no one can excuse themselves of not seeing my guidelines.
