AIO husband drives 90mph with kids in the car and I think it's too fast.
We regularly go visit my husband's family which is a 2.5 hour drive on the highway. He regularly hits 90mph on the highway and will weave in and out to around people. It pisses me off and stresses me out as I'm a very relaxed driver and I don't see the need to rush.
Am I overreacting? How fast is too fast?
QUICK EDIT: his justification is that he knows he's "good" at navigating the road and not completely wreckless and making dumb decisions but I DON'T TRUST THE OTHER PEOPLE on the road and believe he can't reliably know that other people won't suddenly do something stupid

Reddit consensus: NOT OVERREACTING (NOR) (100% confidence)
Top comment: “90 is wildly reckless. I can understand going maybe 5-10 over the speed limit. If the limit is 65 I am usually at 70ish and so is most of the traffic nearby. 90 is insane though. On most highways that's going to be like 25 mph over the limit. It's dangerous and stupid. NOR.”
Notable explanation: “NOR You care for your family's safety. You're not overreacting. If you've already tried talking too many times, give this a try: Give him the worst-case scenario while you're in the car (preferably without the kids), even if it sounds cruel and heartless. For example: "What if you didn't manage to overtake this car and we crashed? What if all of us except you died? How would you live with the guilt? How would you explain it to others?" or "Just a thought: With this speed and that little safety distance, we would definitely all die if we hit the car in front of us." It may or may not work. It definitely kicked some sense into my husband, though. Some men don't understand until you hit them with horrifying reality. But maybe don't follow my advice if your husband tends to get mad easily. Getting angry behind the wheel is the last thing you would want from a reckless driver.”
