imo it doesn't take much to see how those who are doing the 'progressive' equivalent of steven-crowder-esque "Facts" Don't Care About Your Feelings end up having a rabid close knit fanbase that has a hard time getting obvious in-your-face support (aside from the rabid fanbase who regularly tear into each other as well) but also has a lot of people on the fence doing the same Well If It Was Said A Different Way Or More Moderately I'd Be Going Along With It Too (acceptable targets/losses/etc)

whistling has always sent me over the edge for as long as i can remember but when i was 13-15 my mom used to lock me in the car with the rest of the family and have them start whistling different tunes at the same time just to make me start crying-sobbing in pain and then would make fun of me for crying bc i wasn't supposed to do that if i wasn't a s***y. so i'm not a fan really

have they considered maybe i don't want throat and butthole surgery at the same time
