Aaaand done. Good for featuring the casts of College and High School more and I appreciated that there was very little 4koma, but still not amazing or anything. Just fine. But that's all of K-On done in its entirety, except from Shuffle which is currently releasing so we ignore that. Feelsgood.

Congrats Netflix, aside from doing the first episode on its lonesome yesterday, I did in fact successfully binge the rest of the season. Cool. Honestly I don't know if something's changed but, I really didn't enjoy this season quite as much as I did the first two? For the record I didn't dislike it at all, if this were a single MAL entry and I'd completed it here I'd have it at a 7, it's just that I had the prior two seasons at a 9. And I can't really place what's changed such that I'm having less fun. The writing quality is about as good as I remember it being, likewise for all your presentation stuff. Maybe the stuff about mixes muddles the narrative in my mind? But then the execution is totally fine so far and hasn't really posed any actual problems. Melon's cool, Yahya's cool, Sagwan I can take or leave if only because the stuff about sealife probably does muddle the narrative a little bit too much. But I mean we're mostly all still very good, so where are we losing a whole 2 points? I really can't tell. Maybe I'm just older, the central metaphor just something I'm a little less interested in? Maybe binging it hurt the score, since I'm not sitting on each single episode and having the show on my mind for the entire 3 months it would otherwise air over? I genuinely just don't know. One more 7/10 for the list I guess. Hopefully it's not too long a wait for the rest of the season, god fuck batch releases man.
