8 week hardcore trainer - Day 33 - Lower Back and Hamstrings Today has been a pretty busy and productive day. I started at 5am with training my client. I was then at the gym for 6.30am for my session. I had to start with hamstrings as the squat rack was being used. That’s ok though as it helped to warm me up ready for my deadlifts. I did single leg cable curls then seated hamstring curls and then some straight leg deadlifts. That was tough as I kept the rest periods short. I then went into deadlifts. I went into them with a real intensity and managed to hit some decent weight. I got 110kg for 15 reps, 130kg for 10 reps and then 150kg for 5 reps. I used the same weights as I increased the reps. I got 150kg for 5 but could only manage 8 with 130kg and then 13 with 110kg as my back was just totally fatigued! I’m happy with that though as I seem to be keeping a reasonable amount of strength. I got home quickly in order to try and get Foo Fighters tickets for London next June and by some kind of miracle I got them! I cannot wait to see them it will be awesome!!
