A minutes silence for Andy Ashman, his friends & family and fellow crew. Skipper said some pertinent and thoughtful words. This is a scenario that he knew he might encounter but always hoped he wouldn't, sharing the news with us will sit heavily with him. Andy's death doesn't change our goals, dreams or ambitions or shared aim of racing around the world. The crew have so many questions and are postulating endlessly regarding the scenarios of how IchorCoal might or might not continue and the decisions clipper might make. The light winds is giving us time to dwell, but that said the crew are in a reasonable state....I think if we had fought through terrible conditions that night we might find it easier to comprehend, as it seems so unbelievable that such an extreme incident could happen in such moderate weather. #timetothink #reflection #condolences #keepgoing #yachtracing #ClipperRace #8postcards
