I caught Papa Ryan having a special moment with his grandbaby girl Erin, and thought it was so sweet.  But, I couldn’t photograph it.....not until I made a change in game files.  I quickly saved and closed the game.  Read more below.

Ryan:  I love ya, yes I do! 

Erin gurgles and smiles at him..reaching for his lips.

Gameplay Note:  This poor baby has gone thru a few different looks. So, I felt like I should explain my issue, maybe someone else has the same issue, or can give some suggestions.  

Most likely due to recent updates, a couple of popular infant overrides in my game started glitching.  The issue would occur when a sim picked Erin up to hold her, she would turn into a basegame infant with pale white skin. Then, once they put her back down in the crib, she’d go back to looking like whichever override I had in game.  And I’ve tried two of them, same result.

Playing Around the Hood based on “real life aging”, I couldn’t continue playing the Wynn home or any other sim family, not being able to photograph their babies being held.  All my babies will be infants for a long while, based on my yearly calendar.

School’s out for the weekend, and since she couldn’t have an actual sleepover this weekend, she was still able to play with all her friends...that is, until she got sick.

Vin came into the kitchen and saw that Loren was coming down with something, and so he asked her to tell her friends goodnight.

Loren:  Aww Dad..do I have to?

Vin:  I know you don’t want me to cut your evening short, hon, but you don’t want everyone to catch what you’re coming down with..do ya?  C’mere gimme a hug.  I’m not scared to catch your cooties.

Loren:  Daddy!!  

They laugh.

Vin continues:  Go upstairs and ask Mimi to give you some of that cough medicine in her cabinet, and then I want you to go to bed, honey. You will feel much better in the morning.  And when Mommy gets home, I’ll let her know to check in on you.

Carmen gave Loren the dose she needed, and the medicine took affect right away..she felt so much better, but still very groggy...it was definitely bedtime.
