7th Stand User OC: Yuki Yamato
I don’t think Clayman properly rated Quicksilver’s Potential, because I gave it like 3 ass-pull Acts, and a natural 5th Act resulting from their combination, and ts is way too op.
And I even ended up reaching a point where all the stats can be classed as A by turning it into a Requiem Stand.
One last thing before we get into it tho, I’ve gotta say that I picture Quicksilver as a Wearable-Object hybrid Stand that consists of two parts; a worn Stand that covers the entire body, and the detachable cannon. The former is used to absorb minerals and convert them to stamina & vitality, and the latter is uses stamina & vitality to shoot projectile attacks.
Act 1: base Quicksilver, as seen in the game.
Act 2: Chariot — gains the ability to create and attach additional armour to Quicksilver using minerals. This armour can take damage without transferring it to the user. Durability is boosted from C to A.
Act 3: Emperor — gains the ability to control the trajectory of fired projectiles. Precision is effectively boosted from C to A (or at least B).
Act 4: Take The Wheel — gains the ability to control vehicles by attaching Quicksilver’s cannon to them.
Act 5: War Machine — gains the ability to create constructs out of absorbed minerals. Additional cannons, temporary armour for the Stands of others, basic mineral constructs, rudimentary vehicles, etc.
After absorbing a Stand Arrow and Imperfect Aja respectively, Act 5 can be used to create objects made from the Stand Arrow material, and both Imperfect and Perfect Ajas.
Requiem; Time Dilation — Quicksilver gains the power of Time Dilation, primarily allowing it to slow down time for the user, but at its maximum power it allows the user to stop time for a maximum of 5 seconds with a minimum 19 second cooldown.
Time Dilation starts at 1% and ends at 100% (aka Time Stop). For each additional 5% of Time Slow after the first 5% (which can be continuously maintained), the max use-time of Time Slow is decreased by 1 minute and 1 second is added to Time Dilation’s minimum cooldown. (At 6%, the max use-time is around 19+ minutes)
Now, onto Yuki Yamato herself!
Yuki is a hotheaded rocker-type trans lesbian Dhampyr (vampire-human hybrid) with long wavy-curly black hair and red eyes. Out of the SDCs, her personality is most similar to Joseph and Polnareff.
The ass-pulls of Joseph, the bad luck (and skirt chasing) of Polnareff, and the aura farming of Dio (it’s in her blood).
She often wears a leather jacket over a lace top, which she sometimes switches out for a plain red crop top or a corset. Black denim pants, steel toe boots, and a studded belt finish off her wardrobe.
When Quicksilver is out, her skin turns white with a silver sheen, her eyes begin to glow, and her hair colour starts resembling the night sky and begins autonomously flowing behind her as if blowing in the wind.
An ornate silver domino mask with navy blue details rests on her face — think something between Persona 5’s Joker and Queen, with a little influence from P3’s Thanatos’ mask and the head Power (from Chainsaw Man) when she’s in her full Blood Devil form.
Quicksilver’s cannon, often mounted on her right forearm, consists of a navy blue base, and a silver metal barrel poking out of a white sheath-thingy. The stylised Q on each side of the cannon’s casing is also made of silver metal.
After attaining Quicksilver Act 2: Chariot, Yuki begins reinforcing her body with navy blue and silver pieces of armour. Hands, forearms, biceps, shoulders, calves, thighs, midriff, chest, etc.
After turning into Quicksilver Requiem, her domino mask’s details turn gold, parts of her armour turn gold and gain silver details, some parts stay silver and gain gold details, and the white part of her cannon’s casing turns gold with silver details.
She’s the granddaughter of Dio’s firstborn son, born shortly after the ending of Phantom Blood. Her mother’s name is Cassandra and she’s a 2nd generation Dhampyr, whilst her father is a Japanese Hamon (and maybe Spin?) user named Makoto Yamato.
As a third generation Dhampyr with a Hamon user parent, she’s only slightly vulnerable to sunlight (she’s just sunburnt easily), doesn’t need to feed on human blood, and is capable of using Hamon.
The downside is that her vampiric powers are much weaker, and she can only improve them through training; no cheating by bloodsucking someone- and speaking of bloodsucking! One of said weakness among her vampiric powers is that Yuki can’t do the incorporeal finger tentacle bloodsucking thing; she has to use her mouth to drink.
She joins up with the SDCs back in Japan whilst concealing her ancestry and dhampyric nature, so she can get the best shot at killing her reviled ancestor Dio and save the members of her family being slowly killed by their own Stands.
And ofc it wouldn’t be me if I didn’t insert Koharu Honda in somewhere!
She’s the maternal granddaughter of the late Caesar A. Zeppeli, and is a trained user and innovator of his Soap Bubble Hamon techniques. She was born with a Stand thanks to her father being a Stand user.
She joins the SDCs at the airport when they’re leaving Japan, having been called in to assist by Joseph.
Unfortunately I’m still not done making her Stand, but the current version is a midrange wearable-swarm hybrid Stand that can create three kinds of soap suds, which she uses as a medium for her Hamon, but I’ve kinda made it a bit too op from the get-go? So I wanna keep workshopping it. Anyway, its name is Queen Freak (like clean freak?) & The Sudsy Buds (no reason for that; just sounds nice to say)
