For those who haven't seen the news from this morning's PLL: Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine found out Soken was a huge fan and sent a song called Everything Burns to Soken out of the blue that will be used in 7.4. Soken is happy:

The aesthetic and implication of Halmarut dressing like she's a Victorian and clutching her cursed doll possessed by a child who 'died' of consumption (Calyx), scratches my brain in such a delicious way, I cannnn't.
I really hope they'll be the main baddies for 8.0
What is your WoL's reaction when the Doomtrain sprouts arms?
It's a lovely and much needed story patch for Krile, and she gets many fantastic combat and plot/character moments I'm still chewing over.
But of the newly introduced characters in the Ninth, Lumull is the 7.4 MVP.
Man's scared out of his mind; the horrible arcane thing that killed his parents is bearing down on his city, putting his sister, grandmother, and everyone else he knows and loves in danger again. He isn't the engineer his sister is, and he's no warrior; he handles people and issues in the aftermath of attacks.
And yet he must do something.
So despite that terror and being in way over his head, he finds a willing transport and gets the WoL to the depot. Despite the danger he drives the train, keeping it going at full speed so WoL can fight his nightmare. His frenzied exclamations throughout the fight are entirely reasonable - and honestly a highlight of said trial.
And in the end, instead of more loss, Lumull and his family have found they've regained something - someone - long thought gone.
Treno has their best day in awhile, thanks to the team dropping in. And a lot of it is because alongside his fellow citizens, Lumull steps up to do whatever he can to protect what he loves.
