I was tagged by the generous that-flighty-temptress-adventure for the music challenge. Iâve got like a bunch of playlists and no solid musical archive, so Iâm gonna go with my favorite one.
you can tell a lot about someone by the type of music they listen to. hit shuffle on your ipod, phone, itunes, media player, etc and write down the first 20 songs. then pass this on to 10 people.

It would appear I have been chosen by the lovely mmedemerteuil Rules: In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Donât take but a few minutes, and donât think too hard â they donât have to be the ârightâ or âgreatâ works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag [ten] friends, including me, so Iâll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know youâve tagged them.
1) Ender's Game (by Orson Scott Card): My best friend gave me this book in 6th grade and it has traveled with me everywhere. I love it dearly.
2) Beneath The Wheel, also called Prodigy (by Hermann Hesse): I actually just read this book a few weeks ago but... it speaks to me in a way it probably shouldn't.
3) Apathy and Other Small Victories (by Paul Neilan): If I were a drifter, this book would be about me. The way I think is emulated well in this book, and its also super funny.
4) Jennifer Government (by Max Barry): This was the first of Max Barry's books that I read, and I fell in love with both it and his writing almost instantly. Its in a world in which corporations hold all the power, and its one I see arriving very quickly.Â
5) Machine Man (by Max Barry): The main character of this book achieves something I only dream of. Becoming a cyborg. That about says it all
6) 1984 (by George Orwell): Because I love Big Brother.
7) Les Miserables (by Victor Hugo): This was the only book to make me cry. I love this book.
8) The Amber Spyglass (by Philip Pullman): This book will forever be in my memory because, when I was young, the thought of one man taking on God was... inspiring.
9) Hyperion (by Dan Simmons): This book is phenomenally well written, besides being hands down one of the greatest sci-fi novels I've ever read.
10) The Long Walk (by Stephen King): I just... this book is wonderful and terrible. Quite possibly my favorite Stephen King book.
