International Day of Sport for Development and Peace 2024 - Sport for the Promotion of Peaceful and Inclusive Societies.
A special event featuring elite athletes and sporting organization experts highlighting the role sport plays in helping to achieve the Susta
Celebrating the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace (IDSDP), the event will recognize the role of sport in promoting peaceful and inclusive societies. In addition to UN Member State Ambassadors and UN officials, the event features elite athletes and experts from prominent sporting organizations such as the Players Coalition, Concacaf, UEFA, Generation Amazing, Protect our Winters, and FIFA. Speakers will share best practices, discuss challenges, and explore collaborative opportunities that leverage sport as a tool for sustainable development and peace.
The event is organized by the UN Department of Global Communications (DGC) and Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), with the support of the Permanent Mission of the Principality of Monaco to the United Nations and the Permanent Mission of the State of Qatar to the United Nations.

Il 6 aprile è il Carbonara Day e si celebra uno dei primi piatti italiani più amati: la carbonara
uova (1 tuorlo + 1 uovo ogni due persone) guanciale pecorino romano grattugiato pepe nero in grani pestato nel mortaio (o al mulinello)
Lessare la pasta in abbondante acqua leggermente salata. In una padella rosolare il guanciale tagliato a dadini senza aggiunta di grassi o altro. A parte in una ciotola (che dovrà contenere tutta la pasta preparata) sbattere energicamente con una frusta le uova con il pecorino ed il pepe. Scolare gli spaghetti e saltarli in padella col guanciale ben caldo. Successivamente amalgamarli bene alle uova nella ciotola (quindi lontano dal fuoco) e servirli subito. Se serve aggiungere un goccio di acqua di cottura: l’uovo dovrà essere cotto ma cremoso quindi non rappreso.
