#6092 Avling Amarelle (Canada) The final beer from Avling’s barrel-aged sour series is Amarelle, a farmhouse blend with cherries. Coming in at 5.4%, it pours like rosé wine with a quickly dissipating head, a sediment swirl and funk on the nose, the body is light with super low carb (so low that it’s either a bad capping or it just didn’t carb up enough), it’s super funky, the cherries are subtle and mellow which is super unique, it’s clean and chewy, sweet with some nice tannins, tart and a touch tangy, super smooth with a dry, tannic finish.
