Misogynistic men are so pathetic. Their desperate need to be a patriarch only reveals how insecure and lacking they are.
Being innately owed respect is so much easier but how sad sad sad for them when they learn that actually they weren't born better than everyone and they don't deserve more than others, including power.
The reason they cling to the belief that they're innately worthy of leadership (or rather, tyranny) is that they know that they aren't truly worthy of it by their character or works. And it gives them an excuse to control women so they can have whatever they want.
Selfish, self-centered, self-aggrandizing, pathetic.
