High school cringe time, this was soon after I really got into the whole Slenderman thing. I first heard of it when someone was playing some version or ripoff of The 8 Pages on his phone back in 2012 or 2013. Another friend soon introduced me to Marble Hornets, which I was too scared to watch. He then tried EverymanHYBRID, TribeTwelve, and DarkHarvest00, I was still too scared. Eventually I worked up enough courage to start with TribeTwelve, then EMH, DH00, 5zer02, and eventually Marble Hornets. The top two started as a simple 8 Pages fanart, but I expanded it into a whole collage to Slenderman and the many video webseries surrounding it.

I’m very impressed with this series. Those were some very original special effects. The implications of giant tentacles appearing around the city are really interesting to contemplate.
