Got into them at around MID-JAN (after the Moonwalkin' MV came out, and before the Facetime MV came out).

The video that made me fall head over heels for Ohyul’s voice:

After so long, I’ve finally found a newer-gen K-pop group where everyone's voice is so distinctive—you can tell who’s singing just by ear without even looking at color-coded lyrics.

And they don’t just sound good… they have multiple members who can really sing—they sing as though as if they were blessed by God (the kind of raw, natural talent you just can’t teach) and have the insane skills to match the talent.

I’m especially enamored by Ohyul’s voice—it hits me right in the feels, and I’ve been replaying his parts like a few hundred times. And yep, he was totally my bias after watching the video.

“Later on, I went to check out Saucin and their debut album, and I ended up loving every single song. I was kind of prepared for them to be a little lacking in dance skills, given how insane their vocal abilities are—but after watching the Moonwalkin MV, I was like, ‘Wait a minute… they can actually dance? Not just good, but ridiculously good.’

And that was immediately confirmed when I watched their dance practice videos. Their dance skills are insane—especially Woojin; he’s absolutely killing it. How the hell did Jay Park find someone who can sing, rap, and dance this well at the same time—and four of them, on top of that?”

Oh wait...they can compose too. By the time I listened to the mixtape, I was already too deep in the fandom and never looking back. And the wild part? And I still haven’t even watched any of their variety shows and livestreams yet.

It was funny seeing the stark contrast between their behavior on stage and in daily life. At first impression, they look like young delinquents with a ‘don’t care about anyone’ attitude, but surprisingly, everyone in the group is an introvert—crazy when they’re by themselves, yet instantly well-behaved and composed in the presence of others—and they’re actually quite sensitive and caring when it comes to emotions. (Funny TMI: their first Chinese sentence was literally, ‘I am not a bad guy.’)
