The morning lobby today was great. Starting off strong is 5up checking with Apollo that they had another lobby after, into the first game where Dumbdog sheriffs 5up and 5up calls it as a bad shot.
Into the second lobby and 5dog is villain duo, Apollo is stressing because he can’t figure the game out, and 5up proves a point by killing a stack of people.
So back to more 5dog, specifically the on and off again relationship. 5up has commitment issues(picked because he wants to fucking travel everywhere) and Apollo is simply emotionally unavailable most of the time. Because he really can be sometimes

A piece of the fic I’m slowly working on for 5dog, about them in an on again off again relationship. Just for fun
“Ryan!” Austin called as they reached Mira. 5up followed him off the stolen dropship they had used to escape. Austin ignored everything else, stumbling over himself as he made his way to Team Unity.
“Thank god you’re ok,” Northernlion said, hugging him tightly.
“Austin!” Dan Gheesling called and pulled him in for a different hug.
“Ready to go home?” Malf asked and he nodded before catching a glimpse at 5up. Despite everything it didn’t feel right just walking away without a proper conversation.
“Give me a minute. 5up?” He asked as he approached the plant hybrid who was talking to Peter Park. Peter nodded to him and walked away, probably to talk to Toast. “Can we talk?”
“We need to, huh? You heading back to the NLSS?” 5up asked and Austin nodded.
“I am. That’s my home and the Skeld is yours,”
“We weren’t a perfect couple Austin, let’s just split ways and pretend this-“ 5up gestured between them. “Never happened,”
“Glad we’re on the same page then, bye 5up,” Austin said as he turned to follow his team back onto the dropship.
“Bye Austin,” he heard from behind him. Maybe it was lingering feelings or the weirdness of finally splitting up with the man, but he could’ve sworn it sounded almost disappointed.
Maybe if they hadn’t met on xQcs ship and found each other through different circumstances then they would’ve been better for each other.
Idk if you would be interested and still thinking about 5dog ideas, but the song Ripe Fruit Rots and Falls by chokecherry is a 5dog song to me, the whole album is but that song specifically just keeps me thinking about them anytime it shows up in any of my playlists.
I am currently so far in the 5dog brainrot(along with Skadj/Apollo) but I will definitely have to check out that album! Maybe it’ll jumpstart me into writing the already planned out fic.
