Svinøya rorbuer {Explore} by Aslak Tronrud Via Flickr: Rorbu is a Norwegian traditional type of seasonal house used by fishermen, normally located in a fishing village. The buildings are built on land, but with the one end on poles in the water, allowing easy access to vessels. Svinøya is the oldest part of Svolvær and is several small islands connected with fillings and small bridges. Svolvær is located in the Lofoten area. © Aslak Tronrud 2017
