Do you ever have an experience and you just know that it's going to change your life? Like suddenly you find yourself in-between the life you've been living and a new path that is ahead of you, and you have a surge of mixed emotions, of looking back at your old way of living with a certain sense of nostalgia and appreciation, but also the excitement of what lays before you - it's intoxicating.
That's how i feel now. I had my first qi gong class, and it is the most basic, rudimentary class of them all, but the things that I've learned, the way it has made me feel, the honing I've experienced - it's absolutely incredible.
Even though I'm fully aware of my chi and do energy work, my master is teaching me as if i wasn't, which i agree with. But the few techniques that i learned, even though bare basics and very subtle, my chi responded extremely well to them, actually better than i imagined. It flared up and got excited, and with the few chi-conserving techniques that i learned with it as well, god i feel so amazing! I feel much more balanced and energized than i have all week. And this is only lesson one, i can't even imagine the techniques that I'll be learning.
I can already see my path ahead if me. This is going to further cement my path towards studying Chinese medicine and acupuncture. But more importantly, it's going to help me better understand my chi and help me grow very large energetically, becoming a much more powerful and effective healer.
I'm so excited!
