My Grey Scale Gorilla 5 second project submission for August 2013
Progress
I've been making some good progress over the last few days. I have to admit that I could've done a little bit more but I discovered that it was a bit harder to start over than I'd imagined. Well, not completely start over, but writing a new concept and doing some research. I also wrote a briefing for myself which I can look back at every now and then if I get stuck or don't know where I'm heading anymore. I still have to do a couple of things before I can actually start making things again though. I need to pick out 3 games that I think are "suitable" for a remake and logo remake. I need to determine in what way I'm going to remake them. What kind of audience, what kind of platform, what context etc. I have a meeting on Thursday so I want to get everything done by then. I want to have my concept ready, my research written down, briefing done and hopefully some early sketches. Then I'll have 2,5 weeks to animate 3 logo animations and maybe have some early sketches for 2 other games. Wish me luck!! I'm trying to do my best to still graduate in June instead of August/September.
