"So the Terror does have a heart," Genos remarks. Tatsumaki's face turns a shade closer to red. "Don't you have some stupid-looking boyfriend's face to go suck?" It would be an almost childish, laughable sort of comeback, if not for the fact that Genos has no idea if Saitama is still his boyfriend or not. Or– they'd never really been dating, actually, so it's more of a question of whether he'll even be let back into Saitama's life or not, and that's depressing. "Don't you?" he counters instead. "No," Tatsumaki answers coldly, drawing herself up to her full height with her arms folded across her chest. The fact that she's floating six feet off the ground helps tremendously, of course, as otherwise her 'full height' of four-foot-nothing isn't very imposing. "And I never will. That's your problem, robot boy. Love makes you soft." Maybe that should rile him up, but Genos can't really take it as an insult. He has gotten softer, while he and Saitama were together. But he doesn't regret that. Loving him is the best thing he's ever done. It had given him something to look forward to, something to go home to. It didn't make it harder to fight. It gave him something worth fighting for again. And even if he'll never get Saitama back, Genos knows that it is something that has irrevocably changed him. "Yeah. I guess so," Genos agrees, a wistful smile tugging at his lips. "I hope you'll find someone who makes you feel soft some day."

"The floor is wet," Genos reminds him.

"Yeah, 'cuz I'm gonna mop the floor with you," Saitama grunts, locking an arm around Genos' neck in what would be a chokehold to anyone else, but Genos doesn't even budge. Saitama wraps another arm around Genos, and then lifts his feet and lets himself hang off of him, but his body weight isn't enough to even make Genos uncomfortable, much less buckle.

"Any second now?" Genos guesses, moving on to another pan.

Saitama tightens his arms and rests his face against Genos' neck. "Yep."

"Isn't this breaking rule twelve?"

"Only if you think it's weird."

"Oh no, definitely not."

"K. Just lemme know when you give up, and I'll let go," Saitama mumbles into the crook of Genos' neck.

"Will do."
