#JackedKirby - Behold Ajak, He who speaks to Celestials, of the polar Eternals!!! 💥💥💥 The Eternals is one of Kirby’s most ambitious and complicated narratives... but like most of Kirby’s arcs he just kind of gets into the action from Page 1 of the first issue and the hits just keep on coming! In the first three issues of the series you are simultaneously being brought up to speed on the prehistory of the world in the Marvel Universe as well as introduced to the current events of the story line at the exact same time.... this magical balance was Jack’s specialty and it is at its best in this series. 💥💥💥 One of the coolest characters in the whole series is the Eternal Ajak, who appears in #Issue2 of the series in August of 1976. Ajak is awakened by Ikaris because the 4th Host of the Celestials is coming to Earth... and he is the predetermined communicator between the Celestials and the Eternals. But he has been asleep for about 750 years in a molecular chamber, so when he shows up out from his slumber he is dressed in full on Inca garb!!! 💥💥💥 Ajak is called back into action because his specialty is communicating with the mighty Celestials. Over the course of history Ajak has had some awesome highlights: he fought in the Trojan War (he is remembered as the Greek hero Ajax), was worshiped as Quetzalcoatl by the Aztecs in Mexico and as Tecumotzin by the Incans...and even though he is known for his communication skills he is also about his business on the battlefield. 💥💥💥 And how about that helmet???
