It was a long day today but not as long as yesterday. It did rain all day. It was very nasty especially in the afternoon. We stop to eat at Rockne’s in Kent Ohio. You see, many years (decades) ago, we lived there. David got his masters degree there. So we decided to stop there because we had to go through Akron which is only minutes away. It was so exciting and sad at the same time. Some things still look the same and some others have changed. New businesses have replaced old ones. I quickly saw our house on Elm Street. Unfortunately we didn’t have much time. I want to go and look around and visit with old friends. Once we left Kent we decided to take the turnpike although the highway in Ohio was great, not like yesterday in Indiana. So much traffic and so much rain and so many trucks. We got here at around 7:30 and ordered food to be delivered. I did not want to go outside again. And tomorrow will be raining again.
