This Life Of Mine

Off today. It was a long work week, not too bad at work but long nonetheless. It’s still so hard for me to go from Saturday to Sunday, leaving late Saturday and coming back Sunday morning at the crack of dawn. Supposedly we start our new schedule this coming Sunday so I’m supposed to be off that day. We’ll see.

This last Sunday, Father’s Day, it rained so very much. And I was exhausted when I came off work. Monday was much nicer.

Painters didn’t come yesterday, Monday, because it was too wet. I really hope they finish on Friday.

We have two plastic chairs outside on the grass under a tree. I had taken out a small foot stool also. I just realized that it’s not there anymore. I guess someone just decided to take it 😑

Yesterday I worked from 2pm to 10:30 so it was nice to get home a bit earlier. David stopped by to bring me a coffee from scooters, that was good! So the day started fine. However, I’m pretty much done there, I’m tired of all the drama, the toxicity and everyone being mad and rude all the time. When I say everyone I mean everyone. So much drama and gossip. I had one of the guards yell at me in front of a patient. He did apologize afterwards but the damage is done. I have not cried the whole time I’ve been there but last night I just couldn’t hold it anymore. Unfortunately there aren’t that many jobs unless I work for Walmart part time.

Had to get up early before the painters showed up to move my car out of the garage and park it in front of the house.

Painters have been painting the very top of the house. It’s looking good.

I went to post office and then to Walmart. I seriously hate going to Walmart. The local one is rearranging everything and has made the isles narrower. Make that make sense. And then you get the people who get in the way and will not move 😑

It has been a gorgeous day and not hot at all. We enjoyed some time outdoors in the back.

The house got finished getting scraped and pressure washed today. It was a gorgeous day. The workers are so very nice. David is always speaking Spanish to them and I wonder if they really understand him or if they’re just being polite and nodding their heads 😆.

Today’s my Friday! Once again I was exhausted and it was pretty busy at work but all is good and another week has gone by.

The painters started scraping the outside of the house today. Don’t know what the plan is for tomorrow.

Haven’t seen Topo Gigio. I’m wondering if they’re away. Hallelujah!

Last night was rough. It wasn’t busy at first but i was by myself for 2.5 hours and it got pretty busy. The worse part was that I had to go to the restroom and I had no one to watch the desk for me. I finally had to go quickly to get something documents signed by some patients who got in via ambulance. By the time I got back to the desk, there were some people waiting to come in and to go to the rooms in the back. 😐 And we were told that no one was going to be alone 🙄 this was my first time, other coworkers have worked the whole shift by themselves.

I’m super tired and it was so hard to get up this morning at 5:15 am after getting home at 12:30 am and going to bed after 1am. Supposedly I only have 2 more weekends of that. We’ll see if it’s true. I’ll ask my supervisor if I can do an earlier shift the next Saturdays and see what she says.

Michael, Weslee and Joplyn left this morning. They’ll be back by the end of July to stay for good.

I have 5% of oil in my car. I got oil not that long ago. 😑 I don’t understand. And I haven’t seen any oil spill so…….dont know.

Waiting……to go to work.
