eggsy is as loyal as they come , honestly. I think it’s a trait that was primarily inherited from his father. it’s evident throughout both movies , the first one where he takes the rap for the car chase alone , refuses to dob his mates in , refuses to give up their names when dean decides to punish him ... evident again during the train track test. and more so in the second movie , where he refuses to give up on tilde after she ignores his messages , refuses to drop harry after it’s evident he doesn’t remember. even the smaller things , like harry shooting agent whiskey and eggsy telling merlin that it was an enemy attack. or “ I want to be with you , no matter what ” ( eggsy @ tilde )
and his loyalty comes from a need to preserve relationships and friendships , because they’ve been rare to him his entire life. but also because he’s felt the sting of betrayal too many times to ever inflict it on anyone.
