‘The thing I regret most about some of my working days is that I don’t think about God while working. I don’t try to add the Hong Sau to my waking working breaths. I don’t watch my breath or heartbeat while I am up and about. I don’t give attention to the point between my eyebrows while I spend hours at end working. In addition to this, I watch TV abandoning all intention to gather some focus. Oh ! What a loss that is ! My nightly meditation suffers on days spent like this.
Last night was like this. Fortunately, I had the power of attention to support the session but I didn’t have the power of intention to go somewhere with it. As a result, I shook progressively more through the session but it seemed like energy loosened up rather than energy being returned to Sender.’
