So yeah I liked episode 1 of Wandering Witch a lot. I was surprised that it functioned as an origin story for its entire run time, since most other travel shows I’ve seen didn’t really do that. I mean it worked though, I got really attached to Elaina and I think Fran’s approach with training her was like, genuinely good as a lesson and done in a way that was respectably unpredictable. Also I was obviously enamoured with Elaina more than anything but the backgrounds and just general world design as a whole were really great. I think this show’s gonna be a lot of fun.
