In this lesson the word ëčì and its usage is explained. ëčì means you in a formal way, BUT it is rarely used. Please know how and when to use this word, as it might get you into trouble when you use it wrong.Â
When you are angry and do not mind fighting.Â
Translating from a foreign language and you must need a word for âyouâ.
Writing or singing a song or using indirect language.
Talking about someone who is not present in a honorific way and you want to say âheâ or âsheâ.

2/3. ëčì ì ëìŽ ì°ž ìëŠë€ìì = your eyes are so beautiful
4. ëčì ì§êž ìŽëìì? = (honey,) where are you?
5. this is so rarely used, an example would be useless. Just donât use it.
Then how do you say âyouâ?Â
ìĄŽëë§: Use the name + suffix ìš
ëšì€ìš = Namjoon â Youâre addressing Namjoon in a formal way
ìĄŽëë§: When youâre talking to an unknown person or someone with a status, use their postion/ job title + ë
êž°ìŹë = taxi driver â youâre addressing the taxi driver in a formal way
ì ìë = teacher â youâre addressing the teacher in a formal way
