Oh hey it's been a minute!
I've put 70km on my new bike since I got it 2 weeks ago (not a lot by most people's standards but pretty good for me!). Got my first real cycling injury that tore a strip of skin off my arm so I've avoided the public pool. Also got stung by a wasp mid-ride on my way home from work today when it got caught under the top of my shoe. Is that why cyclists wear long socks? Because it feels like a compelling reason lol.
I also got a garmin as an early birthday present and set up a half marathon training plan! So far it's projecting a 3:30 time but I'm hoping by next June I'll be closer to 2-2.5 hours.
Oh, I got my final marks back and managed an 80 average for the semester! I'm officially over halfway done my masters with just 4 courses to go. But I'm teaching two classes this fall so I'm only taking one, and I'm super tempted to take the last three in the winter semester and be done by the summer. Between the part-time school, part-time teaching, and full-time job, I'm gonna be hella busy so my fitness goal is just to maintain some approximation of a training schedule to manage stress.
