as far as anyone is concerned, dick is known to be charming, always having a nice joke (or pun) or two to follow up and he just seems so optimistic and bright. it sure was a sight to see a young, cheerful kid dressed in bright traffic light colors jumping around batman and having some questionable time hunting down criminals in the darkest corners of a very dark and messy city. he loves what he does, but it doesn’t mean the pressure that comes with it is any easier to deal with. while he’s known to be caring, especially towards those in his line of work and ones he calls family, ironically he uses comedy to deflect around his personal feelings and emotions, often putting himself as second priority, with work and family as first. that said, he’s notably stubborn. probably one of the most prominent similarities between him and bruce wayne, dick stands by his principles and code very strongly, and holds himself to a high standard as well. which is why if guilt and grief are also a big part of him, from his parents’ deaths, to all the other happenings in his life that he had been caught helpless, and he doesn’t deal with those well.   ﹟ ⠀ SHORT BIO 

(ooc note: a very simplified version of canon comic!dick, just trying to keep things as open as possible while remaining true enough to his character)  - was in haly’s circus with his parents as ‘the flying graysons’ in which he was the only one who survived in an incident that was caused by a mafia boss over money.  - bruce wayne took him in as his legal ward, which led to dick training alongside him as his trustful sidekick, the first ever ‘robin’.  -  was ‘fired’ by batman at one point due to reasons and circumstances, hence he decided to set off on his own.  - wound up becoming a police detective and yet unable to totally give up on vigilante crime-fighting gig, he’s also ended up taking up a new alias as ‘nightwing’ on the side. - at one point, his secret identity was revealed and he was publicly killed to stop a villain, for a brief moment. dick’s heart stopped. - batman decides to take advantage of this situation and had dick play into his death and become an undercover spy to a mysterious organization for quite a while before resuming his role as ‘nightwing’ eventually.

Weapon(s): Baylor has a homemade suit that he wears that he ordered offline. It has cameras installed so he can livestream his fights onto twitch whenever he wants to. He also has a little collection of knives.

Bio: Baylor Oakland was born in a very strict but loving household. His mother was a hero with his father being her 'support'. The two complimented each other perfectly, and Baylor always hoped that he found someone who he could have such a good relationship with. Baylor's parents understood that brain wise? Baylor was not the best when it came to intellect. However through years of training and playing sports? Baylor has quite the impressive build and strength.

So they made sure to keep him training. Baylor proved to be quite good with his strength and he definitely wasn't a slouch in the speed department either. But other than Baylor's lack of a strategic mind? They both knew that his cockiness would be his downfall. Still...They loved their baby boy, and they would support him no matter what. So when he admitted to wanting to be a superhero? They decided to help train him.

Of course, he wanted to become a SHIELD agent at some point. as much as he loved being a chef (and he had even liked it enough to pass a culinary school for it!) he wanted to do more with his life. He still planned on opening up his own restaurant some day. He just planned on having a bit more of a exciting job on top of that.

When they realized that Baylor had quite the ability for pressure points combat, they had been surprised. He could see someone's pressure points if he wanted to, and how to do a variety of things if he struck them in a certain order. This made his eyesight quite well, as well as gave him a more diverse fighting style. He utilized both fists to brutalize his opponents, and finger strikes to hit their pressure points.

jon is the firstborn son of clark kent and lois lane

he grew up in smallville, but never truly felt like it was home to him

his whole life he's always felt like everyone else is running on a different wavelength to him - as though he's tuned in to a different frequency and nobody ever seems to really understand him fully

when he was 13, everything changed when he was caught up in a fight between a gang of older students at school. he'd always been tall, and they mistook him as much older than he was, jumping on him. the adrenaline caused his kryptonian dna to activate fully, and he accidentally paralysed one of the gang members, completely knocking out the rest of them.

after the accident, his parents finally told him the truth about his father and where he'd come from, his father gifting him a necklace with a crushed green stone inside called kryptonite. as long as he wore the necklace, his powers would be subdued and he'd be able to live a normal life.

unfortunately everything was far from normal - he was basically ignored at school, the story of what had happened followed him everywhere he went. smallville wasn't exactly the biggest place.

to further his isolation, he began to realise he was bisexual - and though his parents were nothing but loving and supportive, the attitudes in the town weren't exactly the most welcoming.

it wasn't until the battle of new york that jon really snapped into action. he begged his father to help, he begged that he could go and help himself, but clark refused saying that it 'isn't our fight'.

jon tore off his necklace with full intention to fly to new york and help in the battle, but he was overwhelmed by his abilities. he had never learned to control his enhanced senses, to cope with the intense noise of hearing even the slightest breath of a bumblebee's wings 4 miles away. lois tied the necklace back around his neck and he lost consciousness.

when he woke up a few days later, he was furious. he put 2 and 2 together and realised that the kryptonite necklace had been nothing but a way to keep him under control - and so he packed his bags and headed for new york.

and that is where we find him today.

he's managed to get an internship as a journalist, without name-dropping his mother, and is doing photography on the side to help pay the rent. he goes by the name 'jon white' in the hopes that his parents won't find him, having cut all ties and contact with them as of right now. he still wears his kryptonite, it's become a kind of crutch for him now - he fears his own powers if he removes it.

Gwendolyn Maxine Stacy, also known as Gwen, goes by the alias Ghost Spider after being bit by a genetically-engineered spider. She developed spider like abilities and with her love of science created her own web shooters to fight crime and be a hero that New York needed but that wasn't the case. 

The impulsive side of her sometimes took over and sadly one night it went too far. She ended up losing her best friend Peter Parker after a fight they had when he was the Lizard where he died and that branded her a bad guy as the police only saw the aftermath of the battle. She changed afterward but continued on being a vigilante.
