I'll start from the beginning, Me Dad and Mum met when they both got selected to try out for Team Beacon. He's from Alberta, She's from Newfoundland,
There be sub teams within semblance hockey, and My Dad's team, Team STRQ, happened to be's the best.
Now eventually me Dad was after playing, you age out of sports quick y'know, and somehow he convinced me Mom to marry him.
They moved to Newfoundland, back to her 'ometown, and I was born. We lived there until I was aboot ten years old.
Now, when I say they were good at hockey I mean it, they be so good that the Prime Minister himself wanted to meet them. But after that everything changed.
Me Uncle Qrow quit hockey and became a politician, and me Mom and Dad started fighting, a lot. They never told me aboot what.
They were just after it and got a divorce.
I spent a year or so going between them, then me Mom took me Dad to court to fight to have her parental rights terminated.
I'd be lying if I said that didn't make me some crooked.
After that me Dad reconnected with Summer, she stayed playing hockey the longest out of all of them, but after she broke her ankle she decided it was time to slow down, and she and me Dad got married and moved to Alberta. That's where Ruby was born.

the post credit scene kinda confuses me. I don't see why Salem is going Atlas if Tyrian & Watts are already going? Its like she said "You two are to go to Atlas" and then decided to go herself
I don't think Salem herself is going to Atlas, but her winged beringals are. We know that Salem is the master of the grimm, and that she knows when they're alive or not. So she's kind of going in spirit? I guess?
I think her "doing it herself" is more her making her own custom minions rather than relying on other people.
It would be insane if she did decide to go in person though.
So I'm rewatching RWBY from the beginning and I'm in awe of how much Yang's fighting style has changed. She went from a mostly boxing style to that of a mma fighter/gymnast. Then you have Blake who's taking her opponents head on a lot more now. They really balance each other out in so many ways
That's one of the things I love the most about Yang as well. She's adapted and grown from where she started and has really come into her own, right alongside her soulmate Blake. The Yin to her Yang.
And on a related note if they were in an MMA AU, Yang would be the Kickboxer Gymnast, Blake would be the Judo Ninja.
