writing tip #3619:
if you have a habit of dismissing your ideas, you will only get better at dismissing yourself

Happy Choa Day - March 6, 2019
Scars beyond healing
Tears could touch the ceiling
Nightmares from bs feelings
Wanting to be treated the way I treat
My mind keeps fighting with my heart
3-0 my mind always with the defeat
Compromising only to get the short end of the stick
At times I want to scream fuck the world and suck a dick
Yet I keep giving this love thing a fucking try
There is intensity, there is urgency, there is clarity in talking to your mother. Say this: “I’m sorry.” Say, “Dad, I’m so sorry,” say “Mary, please forgive me,” “I didn’t mean to hurt you, my love, I will never do it again.” Say this, aloud: “Sorry, Mom.” Any other phrase cuts like that, too, “Mother Mary...”, “Dad, Mom,” it all shreds you to little pieces one layer at a time. As a piece of her, you are speaking to your Whole, like if your teeth were to say, “We are so sorry for every time we have caused you pain, thank you so much for taking care of us, thank you for sharing with us your happiness when you smile.” Like you are her teeth, or the hairs on her legs, or the palm of her hand. All I’m saying is, I ought to call my mom more.
when AJR said “Could you not be mad at me...?”
