Have you ever heard of the store Lush? They have some really nice products for wavy/curly hair, and can make personalized recommendations. If your hair is colored, you might need to add in some protein, too. I recommend a hydrating shampoo, a medium to thick conditioner, combing wet hair with a wide tooth comb, and a leave-in conditioner spray. Switching to a silk pillowcase is also good for keeping wavy hair from not getting tangled. Do try not to brush or comb your hair when it’s dry. Using your fingers to gently untangle knots will help prevent breakage.
Yeah we have a Lush in Tacoma iirc. My hair is colored but it's with henna so I don't think there's any damage to it from that. I use a nice hydrating shampoo and conditioner for my dry scalp but I picked up a comb and silk cap for sleeping in, might look into the silk pillowcases though in addition/instead of (I don't like things touching me while I'm sleeping). I did also pick up a deep conditioning mask. I think it's a good one. Waiting for the rest of my stuff to come in and to do a quick trim before I use it though
It's funny seeing the advice change on hair brushing, I remember being told that wet brushing was super bad for hair a while back.
Whenever I use my fingers to brush my hair I end up with soo many freed hairs. I made a little ball out of them last time and set it on my boyfriend lmfao.
