Remote working, remote learning?
Today was really long day, the first day of working remotely, as well was the first day for my kids' online learning!
As usually I waked up at 5 am and couldnât get back to sleep, I think because I used to wake up at the same time every weekday for the past three months.
Since all my Kids are home (my husband had to go to work) I couldnât set to my laptop before 9:30 to prepare my self for our daily, which was about to start in an hour .
Meanwhile, my daughter wouldnât leave me alone :) she was just bored and didnât know what to do.
At 10:30 am I asked her to try to read or to do anything else in her room so that I can join our first remote daily in Hangout!
So I just spend the day trying to work in my tasks, receiving emails from schools, reading all documents from the emails, and trying to find time for my daughter.
we received the first email from my daughterâs school with the weekly plan and how it should work this week, but today she had the day off , and we will start tomorrow.
My boysâ school send an email to tell us that the all schoolâs entire platform is down because the huge number of people trying to open it in the first day of online learning :) (Germany has to find a solution to catch up with the rest of the world in online learning )Â
As for todayâs news, Bavaria declared that we are in a disaster situation, and decided to open the supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, and gas stations every day until 10 pm, and until 6 pm on Sundays.
Cinemas, Bars, kidsâ playgrounds, Zoos, clubs, Sport ...etc will all be closed from Tuesday.
The restaurant can open from 6 to 3 pm under the condition that there has to be a one-meter distance between people inside the restaurant, and after the specified hours, we can only order food delivery . Â
As to how I tried to keep my daughter busy, we started building a 1000-piece puzzle, I think it will take the whole 5 weeks to finish it :)
Side note: Today I cooked eggs with Turkish sujuk. .
